Two weeks traveling in Southeast Asia, visiting all the countries of former Indochina.
It's not only a trip, it's the experience of a lifetime!
After a day acclimatizing in Bangkok, a local flight takes us to North Thailand, where motorcycles await us on the banks of the great Mekong River.
While crossing the mountains of Northern Laos we can experience the kindness of this people and contemplate a rural society frozen in time.
The beauty of the mountains acquires an even more exuberant exoticism in Vietnam, where we will travel along the northern border with China.
In Sapa, surrounded by Vietnam's highest peaks, we will spend our first rest day visiting the Hmong and Dao tribes, who for centuries have shaped the slopes of these valleys with delicate rice steps.
Always winding through the mountains, we will move along the Chinese border to Vietnam's northernmost point before traveling down to the coast and the famous Halong Bay.
A two-night cruise in China's open sea will allow us to bask in the most unspoiled nooks of this fantastic bay, which comprises 1969 islands and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The city of Hanoi is our next destination. Known as the Paris of the East, it combines a delicate charm with an incredible vibe that leaves a deep impression on everyone who visits it.
A short 1h45 flight will then take us to the heart of the Khmer civilization in Cambodia.
Here, instead of BMW motorcycles, we will have a more native experience, exploring the most remote temples of Angkor Wat on local scooters.
A traditional dinner followed by a Khmer dance performance will conclude this unforgettable journey's extraordinary experience.
BMW motorcycles will be provided by our local BMW Motorrad partner; these are recent bikes (2016/17), equipped to carry your luggage.
MotoXplorers will try to provide shared rooms to those who sign up for this option, but we cannot guarantee that this will be possible for all.Should this not be possible, the participant will have to bear the costs of the single supplement option.
Room distribution will be processed according to the order in which registrations arrive.
